| 饶旺福运用中医象思维将“风善行而数变”“风胜则动“等致病特性与三叉神经痛发作时抽掣样、刀割样、阵发性闪
电样短暂剧痛等特点相比类，认为风邪袭络是所有三叉神经痛的共性病机，常夹寒邪，或与火热为患，以致风寒凝滞、风火
上灼、风痰阻滞经络，日久则络脉瘀滞。饶旺福认为该病治疗总则是祛邪、通络、止痛，强调辨证当分清风、火、痰、瘀、寒
等邪致痛的特点，相应地采取祛风、搜风、泻火、逐痰、化瘀、温经、散寒等治法组合治疗，尤其善用对（队）药，或两药为对，
或三药配伍，配伍精巧，条理清晰。 |

| RAO Wangfu applies the thinking mode of TCM imagery to compare the pathogenic characteristics such as "Wind is good at
moving and changes rapidly" and "Excess of Wind causes movement" with the features of trigeminal neuralgia, including paroxysmal shortterm severe pain like twitching, knife-cutting, and lightning-like attacks. He believes that the invasion of Wind into the collaterals is the
common pathogenesis of all trigeminal neuralgia cases, often accompanied by Coldness or combined with Fire, leading to Wind-Coldness
stagnation, Wind-Fire burning upward, Wind-Phlegm blocking the meridians, and eventually collateral stasis over time.
RAO Wangfu holds that the general treatment principle for this disease is to eliminate pathogens, dredge collaterals, and relieve pain. He
emphasizes that syndrome differentiation should clarify the characteristics of pain caused by pathogens such as "Wind, Fire, Phlegm, Stasis,
and Coldness," and corresponding combined therapies should be adopted, including dispelling Wind, searching for Wind, purging Fire,
eliminating Phlegm, resolving stasis, warming meridians, and dispelling Coldness. He is particularly adept at using drug pairs (or tripartite
combinations), with exquisite compatibility and clear logic, either in pairs or triplets. |
